Our Philosophy
Eastern Medicine Center is the largest acupuncture clinic in Arizona, with an extensive and reliable supply of Chinese herbs in the Valley. We strive to offer holistic healing to our clients that amalgamate the physical, mental, and spiritual aspects of a person as a whole instead of treating them as fragments.
Each client has different needs and requirements. We don’t believe in just using medicine to treat the pain, leaving the cause of the problem unattended. We use the latest research in TCM and western medicine to get to the root of the problem instead of just treating the symptoms, offering a long-lasting solution as opposed to temporary relief.
TCM
Traditional Chinese Medicine is based on balance and harmony, which tends to all aspects of a person as a whole. We offer a comprehensive healing solution to every client. We frequently use acupuncture with other treatments with their roots in traditional Chinese medicine including cupping, gua sha, moxibustion, Chinese Herbal Medicine, Qi Gong and Tui Na.
Our Chinese herbal dispensary holds a range of herbal medicines that we customize to meet the needs of every patient according to their specific health concerns.
Experience
Dr. Liu has illustrious experience working alongside top ranking government officials and the finest doctors in China. Every year, she returns to China to enhance her knowledge of Traditional Chinese Medicine. She brings back this updated knowledge and the most current research in the field to deliver effective and up-to-date treatment plans to clients.
She shares a close rapport with Dr. Shi Xue-min, her teacher and mentor, and the “Father of Modern Acupuncture” in China. They work to open the doors of acupuncture in the United States with particular stress on using this method to treat a variety of neurological disorders.
